FROST Kicks Off 2025 Season with Podium and Strong Points Finishes at Donington Park
Donington Park, UK – Rising star Frost opened his 2025 British Talent Cup campaign in impressive fashion this weekend with a podium in Race 1 and a strong top-five finish in Race 2, despite technical setbacks.
Starting from the front row for race 1 having qualifying 2nd on Saturday morning, Frost immediately joined a breakaway group of three riders who took control of the race and escaped from the rest of the field. Holding 3rd place for most of the race, Frost made a calculated attempt to move up in the final corners but was narrowly denied, crossing the finish line just two-tenths of a second behind the winner to secure a well-earned podium.
Race 2 saw Frost starting from 7th on the grid. Despite encountering a technical issue that affected the bike’s performance, he fought hard to stay competitive. His determination paid off as he brought the bike home in 5th place, collecting crucial points in the early stages of the championship.
Reflecting on the weekend, Frost said:“We had a good Saturday and managed to get a podium. On Sunday we missed out a little bit due to an issue on the bike which meant we couldn’t fight anymore. Still, I managed to drop my lap times a little bit so now I’m really looking forward to the MotoGP at Silverstone next week.”
Frost now sets his sights on the next round of the British Talent Cup at Silverstone, where he will race in front of the MotoGP crowds, aiming to continue his strong start to the season.
